The McLean Ave Parade is fast approaching. March 23rd is just around the corner and will hopefully be a much warmer day than today.
We are asking you to support this parade which is for the community, by the community and most importantly in the community on The Emerald Mile which is the heart of this neighborhood.
Walking down McLean Ave last year in the parade was truly one of my proudest moments of my time in the US, especially being accompanied by the largest group of children the school has ever had in a parade, they were a block long!
Attached is the journal ad and the parade letter. Our Grand Marshal is Joanie Madden.
You can also become a Friend of the Parade, for a donation of $20, and your name will be in the souvenir journal and your support will be very much appreciated.
The parade committee is very hard at work to make this a great day for us all, but we need your help, in any way you can.
I thank you for your time and look forward to celebrating on March 23rd.
