Manhattan College Jaspers Basketball Season and Home Opener Against NJIT.

Manhattan College Defeats NJIT by a score of 70-58 in the Jaspers Home and Season Opener. Manhattan next plays on Wednesday when they travel on the road to play Princeton.

The Jaspers had three players in Double Figures. Darryl Crawford led the Jaspers in scoring with 17 Points, Nick Walsh followed with 13 Points, Antoine Pearson added 10 Points, Andrew Gabriel had 8 Points, Laurence Jolicoeur had 9 Points and Super Recruit Junior College Transfer Rico Pickett added 7 Points and had 5 Rebounds in his Manhattan College Debut.

We think this team has great potential to surprise many people in the MAAC, with some great returning players on the team and also some good new players as well, also We think that the addition of Rico Pickett, will bring immediate results for the Manhattan College Team.

We think that the MAAC Coaches Selection of Manhattan being picked to finish 8th, will not happen, We believe that the sky is the limit for this Manhattan Team.
