Statement from Dan Schorr – October 21, 2009.

“Once again, Ms. DiFiore has failed to show up to debate the important issues in this year’s election. Last night she refused to attend a debate forum hosted by the League of Women Voters, and she has recently missed other forums sponsored by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce and North County News, the Westchester County Black Women’s Political Caucus, and the Nepera Park-Grey Oaks Neighborhood Association. In addition, she has stated that she will be absent from the Ludlow Park Residents Association debate tomorrow evening. It is deeply troubling that while violent crime such as murder and gang activity is threatening our safety, Ms. DiFiore is trying to duck the voters by running from her failed record. I will continue to attend these events, as I have in the past, because Westchester residents deserve to hear the ideas and solutions that are proposed by those seeking public office.”
