UNIFORMED SANITATIONMEN’S ASSOCIATION.
6,300-MEMBER LABOR UNION PRAISES CUOMO’S RECORD OF RESULTS AS A CHAMPION FOR WORKING MEN AND WOMEN.
New York, NY (October 4, 2006) – New York State Attorney General candidate Andrew Cuomo today earned the endorsement of the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association, a New York City union representing 6,300 men and women. Today’s endorsement adds to the broad statewide coalition of working men and women who are supporting Andrew Cuomo as New York ’s next attorney general.
Harry Nespoli, president of the NYC Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association, Local 831, IBT, stated: “The Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association is proud to endorse Andrew Cuomo for Attorney General. Our membership views Andrew as a champion for all working men and women, with a record that shows he will continue fighting for organized labor.”
